I would change a few things but it is more personal preference. Rather than a bulb syringe I use a Nose Frieda because it is much more effective and you can clean the inside of it, unlike a bulb syringe. Also, I don't like Vicks Vaporub's strong menthol scent so I use Baby Rub by Little Remedies (works the same way but is easier on the nose due to eucalyptus, rosemary, and lavender).
