Just push fluids and rest when you can!! I had norovirus in my first trimester, then a horrible cold at 32 weeks, and then a sinus infection at 37 weeks!
I only went to the doctor for the sinus infection, but my doctor did say to take DayQuil for a cold. Make sure you're hydrated and getting enough zinc and vitamin C!!! It wouldn't hurt to take a zinc supplement.

@fussygal: ugh! I had the flu when I was pregnant. It's so hard because you can't take anything. You just have to get through it. Drink lots of water!! Crackers and seven up helped my tummy. REST!!!! And a warm bath. Feel better soon!

I've never called my doctor when I just had a cold. I have a horrible one now and I just try and rest and drink lots of fluids. I would call if I were to be vomiting/diarrhea that were causing dehydration.

I'm starting on day three of feeling under the weather. The first day was just body aches that I was attributing to pregnancy stuff since it was mostly in my back. Then yesterday started out ok but eventually the aches came back, plus a slight feeling of ickyness in my head, and a bit of dizziness last night. I was trying to deny this happening, but today I feel the same :(

I got the flu shot to avoid this and I'm really hoping it goes away soon - we have guests coming today and I leave for London in 5 days! If you got sick like this while pregnant what did you do? At what point would you call the doctor?
