Teach them to not bully. Tell them they can come to us for help if they're the ones being bullied, and work hard to help them with it. Not keep guns where our children have access to them. Get them help if they're going through depression, anxiety, anger problems. Be aware enough about what's going on in your own house that you would know it if your kid was building bombs in your garage or basement or hiding assault weapons in their room.</p> <p>It's depressing to have to worry about...but as you said, unfortunately it's the world we live in.
