A couple of years ago my parents got a new pre lit Christmas tree and 2/3rds of the lights were white. My mom convinced my sister and I to help her replace all the white bulbs with colored, It took hours! But, I think kids like colored more. My parents put both sets on the tree. We alternated which set we plugged in each night.
