I had a headache from lack of coffee + screaming baby, so I made a beeline to the cafe in the store to grab a cup while I picked up a few things. </p> <p>The conversation with the (probably college-student) went like this: </p> <p>Me: "Hi, I'd like a large coffee please, with room for cream."<br /> Her: "Large? Are you sure? That's a lot of coffee! Are you breast-feeding? Won't it get into your milk?"<br /> Me: *staring at her, not saying a word as E is screaming and I'm pushing his stroller back and forth*<br /> Her: "Ma'am, are you sure you want a large?"<br /> Me: "If I didn't want a large I wouldn't have asked for it."</p> <p>A) I can see how big your large cups are....they're prominently displayed by the register.<br /> B) Why would you question a customer?<br /> C) Why would you question a customer with big bags under her eyes and a screaming baby?<br /> D) WHY DO YOU THINK IT'S OKAY TO ASK/COMMENT ON MY BOOBS?<br /> E) Good lord just GIVE ME MY FREAKING COFFEE!!!</p> <p>Sigh. </p>
