I know that when I feel bad, I like to have a blanket or something fuzzy nearby. Maybe a new blanket and a book?

Do you know what she likes? My LO isn't all about stuffed animals at all.

But she does love books! And Plum Organic melts and fruit pouches. :)

"Curious George Goes to the Hospital" to send beforehand. It has some pretty good detail of things that may happen while in the hospital but in a lighthearted way. It was written as a collaboration with Children's Boston: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/0395070627/ref=redir_mdp_mobile

A soft squashy stuffed animal is always comforting when you are little.

I don't have a 15 month old yet so I'm kind of just gong off of what I think. I think a soft stuffed animal would be nice or some kind of game/toy that they can play with while they're healing. Books would probably be nice too.

Edit: I don't know if it would make a difference or help but what about books about kids being in the hospital? Something they can relate to.

Any suggestions?

I have a very good friend whose DD is 15 months and undergoing surgery soon. I'd like to send a gift to her LO and let them know they're in our thoughts and prayers.

What would be a good present?
