Only comfort, I don't care a lick about style. I won't buy it if it isn't comfortable.

@yoursilverlining: Ditto!

I always think about comfort, so we do lots of cotton, stretchy and soft clothes. I have a girl who plays pretty rough and tumble, but I still think she dresses stylishly while staying comfortable!

I make 90% of DD's clothing and try to make things stylish and comfortable but if we are just hanging around the house she is usually wearing some comfy PJ's so comfort wins.

Comfort for sure. I turned down several flower girl dress suggestions because I knew they'd be scratchy.

That said, I really don't have a hard time finding things that are both comfortable AND stylish. Vi's clothes are mostly soft cotton but I think they are cute!
I mostly put her in dresses with leggings underneath. She refuses to wear jeans, and I get it! I would rather wear leggings too!

I have admitted many times, but I spend far, far too much on my kids clothing. Far too much. But I buy mostly clothes that are built for PLAY! It is a Canadian company that makes super stylish, but all about play clothing. So maybe I can say both? I buy them because they can play so well in them...but I love them because they are so darn cute!

definitely both. I buy clothes that are comfortable for him, but I won't buy them if they're also not cute. I feel like these days it's really easy to find cute basics (like Gap's playtime basics) that are cute and comfy. Everything he wears he can run, climb, and play in.

@birdofafeather: Same, I voted for style, but none of DS's clothes are "uncomfortable" - he wears skinny jeans and other more structured trousers though, which I suppose fall under the "stylish" category. He's never bothered by them though, otherwise I wouldn't put him in them!

For daycare, I send her in comfortable clothing. no hoodies because it makes nap time uncomfortable. Soft cotton clothing. Also it makes washing easier because I don't have to worry about hand washing. For birthdays, holidays and church I do dress her in dresses or cuter clothing, but they're all still comfortable.

Definitely for comfort! I haven't really gotten to buy hardly any clothes for LO because we were gifted so many she has no need-- but I almost never put her in her cute dresses. Mostly just for short photo-ops. #Onesies4life. (Although the onesies with the skirts sewn on are perfect and I <3 them)

I also say both. It's important to me that she looks cute and is wearing nice clothes (especially now while I still have control over what she wears!)
