So far about half a banana and a few sips of Gatorade have stayed down since this morning.</p> <p>This happened to DD1 when she had just turned two. We had literally put the last presents under the tree after wrapping and we’re turning off lights when we heard her scream over the monitor. We opened her door and for sure knew she threw up. She was so pitiful crying about the “yucky water”. We still call it that sometimes even.<br /> That was our first year at home for Xmas (spent her newborn ands 1 yo Xmas at each grandparents) and I was never more thankful not to have traveled. We were up off and on. Hanging sheets and pjs all night. She had a great Xmas morning though and fell asleep sitting up watching the nutcracker ballet afterward. Sucked, but turned into a pretty memorable holiday. DH and I never caught it somehow. Everyone slept til 7 and DW and I split duties between the kids and each of us was only up once! It was a Christmas miracle. HOWEVER, now the 15mo has the worst cold he’s ever had and spent all night last night coughing so we got no sleep. He’s totally miserable but Tylenol helps (no fever though). SO we delayed our travel plans by a day and cancelled our dinner we were supposed to host. We will be on the road tomorrow because we are literally going insane being inside this house all week.</p> <p>How is everyone else feeling?!? Thank goodness I’m feeling better and could run out for supplies for us all. Now forcing 15mo to drink pedialyte from a syringe so he doesn’t get dehydrated, DW and 5yo are asleep. I haven’t finished wrapping gifts, no clue how Christmas morning will be...I’m sad for 5yo as he was so excited. Hopefully we will all bounce back in a day or so. Despite how sad they are, all your stories are really helping, though I’m sorry for all of us that things don’t work out sometimes. Started feeling sick mid-afternoon, had to leave my ILs house early, threw up on the car ride home. And then a few days later every single other family member was sick. I felt absolutely awful. Later that night, I start throwing up and spent hours in the bathroom sleeping on the floor. Get up at 3:30 to move to the couch and sick again. Half hour later, 15 month old throws up and has continued all day on and off with diarrhea. Fingers crossed I haven’t been sick again since this morning.</p> <p>I’m seriously so bummed! I love Christmas and we are supposed to travel to my parents 3 hours away Boxing Day, travel to DW’s family on the 30th and host my in laws for turkey dinner Christmas Day. DW and the 5yo are spared so far but we all know the dread of waiting for it to take everyone out. So, commiserate with me! Make me feel better like the entire holiday break isn’t ruined :crying: </p>
