Haha. We are really different. We do like watching Nascar races together? And we both enjoy the same type of music. But that's pretty much it.</p> <p>I'm into nail polish, movies, sleeping, and going out and just doing things (movies, travel, going out to eat, winery tours, festivals, concerts, zoos, etc.) and he's more into hunting, staying at home, history (civil war especially), messing around with the yard. Also, my husband likes to make lures from scratch and he will give them to me to paint (to look like fish). (I realize this sounds ridiculous, but it works for his scientific/engineering mind and my creative/crafty side)!</p> <p>We have taken pottery wheel classes together that were a lot of fun...</p> <p>Sometimes we will train for triathlons together... we are the same speed for swimming but he kills me in running and cycling, so often he will workout first and then go with me for fun...</p> <p>Hiking with the dog... taking the dog to go swimming.</p> <p>Going to the beach/surfing in the summer (but not this year because LO is too young).</p> <p>We usually watch our team play football together, either at home or a bar/restaurant.</p> <p>We usually do a March Madness football pool together.</p> <p>We used to play board games together but haven't done that lately.</p> <p>That's all I can think of! </p> https://boards.hellobee.com/topic/common-hobbies-with-so/page/2#post-1131546 Fri, 04 Oct 2013 09:29:15 +0000 Maysprout 1131546@https://boards.hellobee.com/ <p>We run and bike and like to do outdoorsy things in general (hiking, gardening). We used to cook together a lot more, but now usually one person tackles the meal while another is working on cleaning the house. We both (right now) enjoy table tennis, reading, and playing board games (or just games in general... his favorite is Boggle). </p> <p>In the past, we've done things like puzzles together (I got bored of that pretty quickly, though...he still enjoys it) and hiking (he didn't really enjoy that very much). All the things we both like (traveling &amp; skiing for example) aren't things that we do often, and I refuse to count watching TV as a hobby, although that is what we do together most often. I'm not actually sure I have any "hobbies" anymore. Most of our hobbies (camping, kayaking, cycling) are gear-intensive. DH or I will get a crazy idea that we need some new gadget, and rather than keep the other one in check, we end up encouraging the purchase because it sounds great.
