I think I was in 8th grade, so that was 1997 or so?</p> <p>My top three concerts all have to do with No Doubt. Hahaha. I am a die hard fan and I've seen them a bunch of times (at The Palms in Vegas, with U2 at Staples Center, and one of the shows at the Long Beach Arena. The town I grew up in never had concerts ever, and I never had anyone to go with until my hubby (then boyfriend) got free tickets to it! It was awesome! We saw a ton of bands that I don't remember but our favorites were Flogging Molly, The Decemberists, Kings of Leon, and Dave Matthews. Although, we didn't stay for Dave long because it had been raining ALL day and the entire festival was a mud pit and my sneakers were soaked through and I was super sore, wet, cranky, etc so we left early.</p> <p>I've seen Flogging Molly again since then and it was super awesome and fun. I'm really not a big concert person... even though I live in Music City! But tonight I'm going to All for the Hall. It's a concert Keith Urban puts on every year to raise money for the Country Music Hall of Fame. This year I most looking forward to Keith, Rascal Flatts, and Lady Antebellum. My favorite concerts are big joint concerts like this. You get to see a bunch of act and they all play their best songs!</p> <p>I also went to the NKOTBSB tour last summer and LOVED it. Every time I go to a concert, I always think about my first one and then try to decide what my favorite one ever has been. My very first concert was Kenny G and Whitney Houston at the HersheyPark Stadium. I think it was 1987? The best concert I've ever been to is tough. I've been to a LOT of really great concerts and don't think I can pick just one. My top three, then, would be: Paul Simon at the Starlight Pavilion in Hershey, Phish at the Star Lake Pavilion in Pittsburgh, and Amos Lee at the Kimmel Center in Philly. All great shows for very different reasons! </p> <p>What was your first concert? What's your favorite (or top 3)? </p>
