Such pretty hair!

We use Nature's Baby Organics Conditioner & Detangler on S's super curly hair. His definitely isn't as long, but it gets super frizzy if we don't use a separate conditioner. This keeps his hair soft and frizz free

@babycanuck: Pretty much? It's really popular these days and so most grocery stores carry it. You shouldn't have to go specialty. Just make sure to look for UNrefined.

@loveisstrange: Your LO's hair looks excally like my LO's. They could be twins. We use the Target spray on conditioner/detangler. It has been wonderful. I use it on wet hair and dry hair to style it. I could not live without it honestly, and its super cheap (1.50)

@ValentineMommy: I love Ouidad for my curly/wavy hair too!

LO has curls too, but her hair is very fine (she's cursed with my hair, not DH's awesome hair, sigh) and I use California Baby conditioner on her hair.

@loveisstrange: I don't have a conditioner suggestion, I just wanted to say how adorable her hair is!! My LO is almost 13 months and is just getting the little curls by her neck. I hope she has curly hair like your LO (even if it is more work)!!

I use Ouidad on my curly hair and I recently just saw that they have a kids line (called Krly). I have yet to try it out, but I know their adult line is amazing!! I plan on getting some for DS asap because his hair is getting some major curl as well.

@avivoca: I'd say once a month for a deep condition (use a small handful and leave it on wet hair for a few minutes before a shampoo), and other than that every time I wash hair. I don't use any other conditioner. So I wash with a biodegradable baby shampoo, rinse, and put on about a quarter-size amount after I towel dry my hair and work it through with a brush. I let my hair air dry. I wash my hair about every three days in summer. I shower every day, and might rinse with just water if I get pretty sweaty, but I don't use shampoo that often. I use it on Lorelei, too, and she has very thin, fine hair. I use less, though.

@Mrs. Twine: How often do you use it on your hair? I want to try it out on myself, as I'm not sure the degree of curl LO will have (her hair is pretty straight right now).

Unrefined coconut oil. It's simple, cheap, smells delicious, and works amazingly. I use a tiny dab as a leave in (and then comb through) on my own hair, and used to on Ellie. And her hair was CURLY.

I have curly hair and use the DevaCare line, so I would just use that on DD as well...

But my DD only has a few curls at the base of her neck, so I use drugstore moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. Whatever is on sale and smells good. :silly: Right now, I think she has Tresemme. I put the conditioner in right after shampooing and leave it in while I let her play for a bit. I rinse the conditioner at the very end of bath time and then comb her hair while it's wet.

C has pretty curly hair. Its starting to get pretty long and it's pretty unruly and I think we need to start using an independent conditioner on her, the 2-in-1 stuff just doesn't seem to cut it. I saw some Mixed Chicks leave-in for kids at Target yesterday, but I wasn't sure about it. I use their deep conditioner and like it.

What do you use and where do you buy it? Bonus points if I don't have to order it online! lol
