But I pumped about half the time until my son was eight weeks old because I had a lot of nipple pain. I feel like I do get the best of both worlds - I get to nurse the night/morning sessions still, and during the day (even on weekends), anyone can feed her. Pumping is a pain tho! I didn't get any bond from breastfeeding and got a much better bond from looking into LO's eyes as I fed him and studying his sweet little face. For me it was less stressful and I could relax and enjoy them. He's BF and I didn't want to be the only one who could put him to sleep at night. But I find giving him a bottle just as lovely as BF - I feel like it's very sweet and I pay more attention to his cute little face rather than the latch, how long it's been, etc. My first was bottle fed, so I know that bonding with bottle feeding happens but was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed giving a bottle to my BF baby, too. </p>
