Oh sorry I meant they could tell definitively with ultrasound only and did not need blood work. They didnt even offer a progesterone check even though I said I felt like I ovulated because they said an ultrasound would show something even a week after ovulation.

@orangecuse: it is true. Whatever blood test they did (progesterone I think) shows if you already ovulated

I ovulated my first month and not the second on clomid. I was told even if I ovulated early they would see evidence of that. Is that not true?

Clomid made me ovulate much earlier. I normally O-ed days 17-22, and with Clomid it moved up to day 13 (!)..... which was successful :) Hopefully timing worked out for you!

Is it possible you ovulated earlier? I only
Did two cycles clomid before getting my bfp but I ovulated a few days earlier than usual both cycles.

I'm a long time lurker, but am so confused about this cycle I needed to post. I'm on cycle 3 of 100mg clomid monitored cycles with an RE. The first 2 cycles I responded too (although didn't result in bfp), but this cycle is wonky. I went in CD12 and had a 14mm follicle, then back today and nothing larger than 11. He thinks it's possible I could have ovulated (waiting on bloods) but what the heck?! I've never ovulated before day 17 before. Ugh! Any idea if its possible to stop responding to Clomid after have previous positive results?
