Yep, 18. I heard that and thought it was over. My number certainly wasn't doubling between ovulation 13 days earlier and then (if so, it should have been at least in the high 50s.) Yet, two days later, my beta was 80, then 304, then 1500+. Basically, it just took baby a little time to nestle in and start multiplying that HCG. </p> <p>Also, forgot to mention earlier, my OB likes to see 50 or higher at 4 weeks, and I've seen that guideline mentioned many times on the boards. The 55-955 is a 29 hour doubling time (5 days apart). Either of those things would make me relax. The 46-55 in 48 hours is making me stress.
