I had no clue these were related!! 3 months is too early for teething, right? R has so many symptoms.

Oh! I didn't know congestion and teething could be related. LO is almost 6 months and has been a little sniffly, not enough to make her upset or have trouble nursing, but we've had to bust out the saline drops and Nose Frida a few times. Good to know!

As long as the snot is clear I would say it's from the teething. But if it turns yellow or green call the doc. That's what happened to us and it turned out all the congestion from the teething had backed up and caused an ear infection.

ooo interesting! DD is very congested at the moment and initially I just thought she was sick-but she has no fever...wondering if it is teething!

Yep that's a big sign for us we just salined and sucked. He tummy sleeps so I kept his nose moisturized otherwise it'd peel after naps.

My lo was so snotty while cutting her first tooth. I thought she had gotten a cold from daycare. She eventually cleared up with lots of suctioning out and saline solution.

I do not think there is a need to call the doc at this time. Just keep doing the suction. He may get a bit of a fever from teething and you can give him Tylenol.

Wondering if I should call the doctor. I'm almost positive J is teething. He has been getting progressively snottier (is that a word? ) over the past couple of days. I have to nose Frieda him several times a day and get so much snot ! He doesn't seem to feel bad so I haven't called the doctor yet and am wondering if I should. I've heard one symptom of teething is a lot of snot/drainage . Did your LO do this whole cutting teeth? He's almost 5 mo old
