@blackbird: He does love reese. I got him one big one for Valentine's.

@LuLu Mom: I didn't even think of a card, but that is for sure.

@Mamaof2: A delicious 6 pack would make his day.

@abbydabbydoodlebug: I just died laughing. That would probably be his favorite gift.

@gingerbebe: I thought about calling a babysitter and surprising him when we got home by taking him out to dinner. Maybe takeout from his favorite place?? Then we wouldn't have to worry about trying to get his mom or our high school girl on short notice.

We would probably go out to eat at a place DH LOVED. But if you want more low key, probably a favorite dessert. For V Day I made DH a pizookie using some Tollhouse dough and a few scoops of mint chocolate ice cream...and a bottle of champagne! :) A card telling him how proud you are of him would also make him feel great.

For me, I'd get DH a GC for a round of golf, something I know he enjoys or I would surprise him with his favorite meal/dessert and a card saying congrats and saying how proud we are for all his hard work.

Honestly, a package of Reese's would make his day, especially if i stuck them in the fridge for him

So my DH just got a pretty great promotion at work. I am so over the moon excited for him and wanted to bring him home something to celebrate. If it was me, he'd probably bring me flowers. What is a good, but easily bought congratulations gift??
