I had some awful dizziness a couple weeks ago. My OB's office made me come in and check my blood pressure, but it turned out to just be vertigo. My doctor had me take mucinex, but if I didn't have borderline high blood pressure, then she would've had me take a decongestant.

The catch is that I went to the doctor for the ringing before I knew I was pregnant, and they said there was no infection or anything. She basically said it looked like my ears needed to pop. But I've been on five planes since then, and my ears popped a zillion times, so that doesn't make sense to me.

If it's ear ringing on top of that, it sounds like an ear infection or swimmers ear to me.

Y'know, it sounds like vertigo or an ear infection to me. I think a trip to the doctor is in order. I hope you get it sorted, it sounds horrendous.

I'm so sorry, that sounds so miserable. I had pretty constant dizziness & fogginess for a few weeks during my first trimester. Now it just comes & goes. My dr said it was normal, to drink lots of water, rest & to not make any sudden movements, etc. Definitely tell your dr all your symptoms. Hope you start getting some relief soon!

I didn't have this while pregnant, but I did have a mild bout of vertigo several years ago that sounds very similar. It went away on its own, but I remember being pretty miserable/feeling like I had the spins all the time. Either way, I'd definitely mention it to the doctor on Monday!

My doc told me to take vitamin B12 for my dizziness. (I felt like I was on a moving boat 24/7) don't know if that helps

I did a quick board search and it looks like dizziness is common, but I didn't see quite what I'm experiencing. It's not so much dizziness as a feeling of constant motion. Like being on a plane, where you aren't quite still, and then occasional bigger movements that make you lose your balance. It's been 100% of the time (sitting, standing, laying down, before and after meals, etc) since sometime about a week and a half ago, and it's really unpleasant, especially since I do lose my balance sometimes. Has anyone else had this, and maybe had it go away at some point? I've also had a constant ringing in my ears since I got pregnant (I'm 9 weeks now), which is apparently not that common but normal. So I'd guess my inner ear is completely wonky.

Google suggests "unrelenting dizziness" might be a cause for concern. I'm going to call my doctor Monday, but I've been out of the country for the last 2 weeks so haven't had phone access. Anyone have any thoughts at all?
