This stuff helped my daughter a lot around 20 months - 2 yo

https://www.target.com/p/culturelle-kids-regularity-gentle-go-formula-packets-24ct/-/A-50568927

While I never pulled it out.....I absolutely laid my daughter on her back pushed her knees back like she was birthing a child & coached her along when she had some poops that she was pushing for an extended period of time without success.

This all led to us potty training earlier than I planned (2yr 3mo) bc s big problem was her poo got so hard she couldn't go with diaper on bc it had no room.......PT def made a huge difference as I rarely needed the powder afterward.

Do you guys do milk? Because often just dropping that or limiting it to one serving a day makes a huge difference. Milk is constipating, bit also when you drop it you automatically increase water intake so that helps too.

My younger son has been constipated basically since he switched full-time to solid food, so 2.5 years? He’s on a daily dose of Restoralax. We recently potty trained him and then tried to wean him off the dose, but it was an epic fail, so he’s back on it for the foreseeable future.

My DD was constipated often around 18 months. What worked best was a daily drink - Mix prune juice with warm water.
Suppository if desperate

How often is your toddler constipated? My daughter is almost 16 months and had been super constipated for a few days. So bad that I actually had to put gloves on and help her pull it out (TMI). I upped the fiber and water and she’s now pooping normally again. However, I get so worried when this happens. Happened with my 4YO when she was about this age, too.
