It made me so sad to see this happen to her! It was like this for the first couple of weeks that we made the switch. I made sure to add some pureed prunes or pears to some of her meals like oatmeal and yogurt as well as stay away from other constipating things like applesauce and bananas. We went through the EXACT same thing. We started to supplement fluids with some bottles that had water/juice, the juice helped to "loosen" things up. We also did half Silk/half WCM for a few months for his body to adjust. Once we switched to sippies she cut down her milk intake dramatically on her own and that helped. I forget how old your LO is but I would ask your ped how much WCM / formula should be the max at his age. We also only give her milk twice a day and mix it with almond milk, which doesn't seem to constipated her but she doesn't like it as much as WCM. Whenever he goes #2 he screams and writhes in pain and his poop is hard and a strange sand-like color. Is this normal? It's breaking my heart to see him so uncomfortable! If your LO went through this, how long did it last? </p>
