so fun!

She is pulling herself up standing....and taking a couple steps holding on. It cracks me up when she is standing and one hand on the coffee table and drops what she is holding in the other hand. She tried to bend down to pick it up but can't, so then she lowers herself as low as she can and then just falls. But like she already figured out if I get lower it hurts less.

So cute! C just started stacjking things the past couple of weeks as well. He's jumping and climbing on everything! Most recently he was able to climb up the stairs to the slide and sit himself down without any help! I did hold his hand down the slide but I think he would've been fine even if I hadn't!

That's so cute!! I can't wait til G can play blocks with me :D

Hmm, well, this is sort of a milestone, but she LOVES to sit up (with us holding her) now. She can't do it on her own, although she can actually sit up from a reclined position with a bit of help, but holy cow, we have created a monster. She refuses to be in any position but upright now! LOVES it.

@Freckles: hahahahaha.. B is taking tumbling, so he thinks he can tumble anywhere. He tried to do a forward roll last night on our neighbors patio, he ended up with a BIG FAT bruise on his head and we had to leave the party

@googly-eyes: Climbing is a milestone! LO lately likes to jump OFF the couch and then roll onto the floor like she's a stuntperson. Talk about mama heart attacks!

@lovehoneybee: The stacking cups are great. Yay for E!

@lovehoneybee: @littlek: Cool! I think she could have done it before but when I helped her climb at the park (where before I'd just let her run around on the grass, go on the swing, etc) it was like a lightbulb. Still working on getting down though, lol!

@littlek: Oh I hope you put a video on IG of him twirling! How fun! E likes to spin in circles and do that bent-knee up and down dip thing--how he dances!

@googly-eyes: E started filling and spilling bins 2-3 weeks ago. I'm totally about it--helps keep the living room look less like a hurricane came through! One of the things we do before he goes to bed is put all his shape blocks back into the shape sorter! And I totally think climbing is a milestone. It was a very relieved day when I realized he could climb OFF of our bed!

Woohoo! Go E! Dd hasn't gotten there but she did recently start putting things into bins, etc., rather than only dumping them out. I'm partial to knocking blocks and stuff down so I can't complain. ;)

I don't know if this is a milestone but she recently started climbing up things, like at the park, onto the couch, onto other things in the living room...

@lovehoneybee: Yay!!! LO is obsessed with stacking as well. He started stacking around 10 or 11 months. We are working on jumping and twirling.

Oh I'm so excited! I feel like I've been waiting forever for E to start building things instead of just knocking them down/taking them apart (like blocks and stacking cups).

My ILs have a ton of old wooden blocks (from when DH was a toddler) and we'll build little towers for E to knock down. When we were down this past Saturday he instead of knocking them down he started stacking them.

Then yesterday, he found his stacking cups and stacked them all! Granted they aren't in order, but I think the towers he's made have been much more interesting ;)

(we have this set: http://www.amazon.com/Green-Toys-First-Stacker-Colors/dp/B0036WSVQ4/ref=sr_1_9?s=toys-and-games&ie=UTF8&qid=1382978576&sr=1-9&keywords=stacking+cups )

I don't know if he's ahead, behind, or right on time with this, and I really don't care--I'm just so tickled by it! I've been putting off buying blocks until he started doing this!

What milestone has your LO reached lately?
