@mrbee: @autumnlove: @BoogieBea: @Baby Boy Mom: Thank you all for the reassurance! We finally had a pee in the potty after 4 accidents. I had to sing every song I knew to keep her sitting on the potty.

Did anyone use pull ups and find the successful? Also do you reward for every attempt or only the successful ones?

Sounds normal! I would stick with it. We potty trained at the same age and it took closer to 2 weeks until he really had the hang of it.

My daughter has been potty trained for over a year now and she still says "no" when I ask her if she needs to use the potty. Sounds like she is doing pretty well.

I would continue. Are you doing any rewards? I know "bribes" aren't for everyone but my LO loves stickers and that really helped during the first week or two of PT.

I started training our 22.5 month old on Friday. We have some successes and lots of accidents. Yesterday she had two really successful point to the potty and held it in and went on the potty. She was showing so many improvements and really picking up on it. Today she is going backwards. She has pointed to the potty AS she is peeing or I will get her on it and sits for 5 seconds and then wants to get off. She just did that and I turned my back for one second and she squatted and peed right beside it. Everytime I ask if she needs to go she says no, and I know she does.

From those who have tried or who have successfully trained, should we continue? Is this just the normal route?
