Being in Florida we store our car seats in the house because I don't trust that the 100degree heat and humidity won't disintegrate the straps and foam. If you read most manuals they advice to store in normal temperatures too. </p> <p>We bought two for our cars because they are a pain to switch around and get installed really well. It honestly takes me about 10 minutes to climb in, clip either side in with the LATCH. Maybe you could ask other daycare parents if they have one to sell? We went with britax for ours, but got a more expensive model for the primary car she drives in, and a cheaper one for the secondary car. I know that you could uninstall and reinstall it--I see some at our daycare center so I know people do it--but it seems like it would get old quickly and I would be nervous about safety. </p> <p>We spread out the financial hit by buying the primary one first and leaving the infant seat in the other car for another month or two. I also know there are some more affordable options I have seen on here--I think one by Cosco and one by Evenflo? that have been recommended for grandma's car. Did you buy one for each car? I drop LO off at day care and DH picks her up, plus LO has to be able to go in the day care lady's car. Would we be able to swap one around or are we going to have to get 3? Do you have another suggestin for us? </p>
