As for a great convertible seat--if you have a smallish backseat, STAY FAR FAR AWAY from the Graco "My Ride 65/70". They are HUGE!!! I had one in my mom's Tahoe and I HATED it!!! I have a Graco Size4me70 (check out the gracobaby.com website for all the versions of this seat). I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!! Used it rear facing and now have it forward facing for my 3.5yo. We have an Evenflo one but dislike it, so are looking for something else. We have a small SUV but the back isn't the biggest so something that will fit ok rear facing, but that she can grow into. Prefer it to be under $150 :) </p>
