We have an SUV and our nanny has this little 2 door VW Eos. If I dont end up buying two of the one we want (the Britax Boulevard or Marathon) then I might look into one a bit lower priced. I've had to move it between cars a few times, and while it is easy to install, it takes a bit of finagling to make sure that the latch belts are pulled tight and I get the tether strap hooked up well. I would not want to move that every day. We are getting a Graco MyRide for our second vehicle.<br /> DS hasn't fully outgrown his infant seat (35lbs and 32") but is to heavy for me to carry him while he's in it. So DH uses that seat when he has to pick him up from day care now and then, and the convertible is in my seat. We'll be buying the second convertible next month.<br /> Unfortunately I would buy 2 seats. One that she rides in the majority of the time- a Sunshine Kids Radian. And a cheap, but safe, Evenflo one for the second car. It's a beast.</p> <p>We also have a Cosco Scenera that we use as an airplane seat, and that one is kind of tough to install rearfacing. I would recommend getting one that has a reputation as easy to install, like a Britax, and using LATCH, which is way easier than seat belt installation. If you are just using the seat belt its not horrible to uninstall but can be an issue with not reinstalling it tightly each time. So Im starting to research convertible seats since Liv will be out of her infant seat within the next few months. Question is - they look bulky and heavy. We currently have a base in our nanny's car so she can take the baby places. Is the convertible seat easy to get in and out on a daily basis? Or do I need to buy two? </p>
