We had an incident while I was driving to work when lo had an allergic reaction. Thank goodness it wasn't bad enough where he needed medical services. Once I got to work I ordered a carseat for dh's car. Even though lo will rarely sit in dh's car, to me it's important there's one available if there's an emergency. We would just switch cars for whoever had LO. It got to be a pain and an inconvenience so we bought a 2nd car seat. LO goes to a MDO class and I started work part time and it's so much easier with an extra. Either my husband uses it or my parents use it when they are with her.
