He put all his DVDs onto a hard drive and then connected the hard drive to the TV somehow so they can just watch whatever they want easily. I haven't gotten rid of the DVDs yet, but that's happening soon. The only time we watch a DVD is when we don't have it converted digitally. We also have started buying and renting them digitally. I was thinking of burning them to digital copies and donating and/or selling the physical DVDs. We haven't purchased DVDs in years as it is so I feel like it might be worth it to free up space. </p> <p>Have you done this? Is it worth the time and effort to convert them or did you just ditch the movies you never watch? </p>
