A little over a year later, I was ready, but he stuck to the 2 year thing and didn't really warm up to it any earlier, but that's fair, since we did agree. In that time I eliminated our birth control method (Mirena) and put that responsibility on his shoulders. But I'm more eager for baby #2. It's not that he doesn't want another baby, he's just more practical about waiting. Our friends just had their second so we went to visit them at the hospital and I made him hold her. I could tell when he was holding her that my trick worked.... he LOVED holding a little itty newborn baby again!</p> <p>Unfortunately I don't know if that would work for you.
