I once made caramel rolls and got hot caramel on the inside of my wrist! It burned me pretty badly and I still have a huge scar there!

Hope you are ok. Mine have usually been minor - knife cuts and burning myself on the oven.

Oh no! My mom sliced her thumb open when cutting onions for.French onion soup. And then when we were eating it she slipped it all over herself. Bad night for my mom!

ouchie, most of mine involve not following a recipe and doing my own thing.

OMG, that's a legit fail. Most of my kitchen fails have to do with my poor knife skills-- lots of little cuts.

oh man, burns are the worst :/ I have a rule for myself where if it involves hot oil that can splash, I do not cook it. I will inevitably hurt myself, so the husband either cooks it or I figure out a different method. I do have burns on the tops of both of my wrists & the inside of my right bicep from pulling hot pans out of the oven & hitting myself with them. hello, my middle name is grace.

I'm actually feeling much better than I thought I would be at this point. I was able to get some Rx burn cream for it and it seems to be helping. I'm worried about trying to sleep tonight though (but who sleeps at night when they have an 8 week old anyway? ha!)

I know how that feels and it sucks! I was cooking with my stepdad when I was a teen and he dropped a pork chop in grease on accident. I was standing right next to him and got some bad burns on my arm. I've also cut my finger pretty good a few times.

Are you feeling ok?

I was searing a roast this morning so I could throw it in the crockpot. It slipped out of the tongs and splashed some hot oil on my face and I ended up with 2nd degree burns on my forehead, and 1st degree burns on my eyelids and nose.

Have you failed in the kitchen?
