I gave her a few little bowls and spoons and some flour to spoon around. </p> <p>Now she measures, pours, stirs, cuts with a dinner knife (safe), peels oranges, cracks eggs. His favorite class at his afterschool program is cooking; the kids make something, then the teachers put it in the oven. I guess the oven is a safer way for kids to "cook" than using the stovetop.</p> <p>Anyway he absolutely loves it, and I'd love to get him making food for us IRL as I think he would take great pride in it. Plus, he eats way better when he makes something himself!</p> <p>Do your kids love to cook and/or bake? How often do they do it? </p>
