My OT people said that a shot or localized ointment/solution would help me heal, but they haven't done it bc they're worried since I'm breastfeeding. I contacted the lactation consultant at the hospital I delivered at and she said it was fine. </p> <p>The shot worked wonders for my DeQuervains tenosynovitis! I have tendinitis in my wrist and my orthopedic surgeon said he wouldn't do the injection because it is very controversial. He did say if I got a note from my OB OKing it then he would absolutely do it. I did a quick google search and found lots of women who had it done no problem. Some said they just didnt bf for 4-8 hours after the injection. </p>
