We spent a good day shopping there. We stopped at this little stand for a fresh fruit smoothie (sorry, I can't remember the name)...amazing! So I totally agree with eat a lot of fruit.... Yum. Also in Tamarindo, and probably where you'll be too, we did a sunset catamaran ride that included about an hour of snorkeling in this little alcove. It was awesome! And yes, be prepared for heat with lots of humidity! Have fun, I'm so jealous... But remember the sun will be really strong, so I will add that I like my maternity rash guard from motherhood maternity and it's on clearance (less than $15). The long sleeves were too hot but I just cut them above the elbow and they didn't unravel or anything. </p> <p>And I agree driving there is pretty crazy. Unfortunately, we didn't stay in the area where you are going.</p> <p>Are you renting a car or getting a shuttle? We loved Costa Rica and the only thing that kind of freaked me out was the driving.
