I think it was week 4 that made me quit? I couldn't run more than 2 minutes TOPS without stopping, it was too much for me. I switched to interval training with Jeff Galloway, the app was a few bucks but it made a huge difference, I was able to get to just over a 12 minute mile and do three 5k's before I got pregnant! I am itching to get back! I did run 1, walk 1 and increased distance instead of intervals.

Great job! I did C25K 2.5 years ago, and it is awesome! The first 20 minute run was the hardest psychologically, but not nearly as bad physically. My advice: use podcasts or an app to tell you when to run and walk, get good shoes, slow down when you're struggling, repeat a week if you need to, and have fun! I ran a half marathon last month, and never would have been able to if not for c25k.

Way to go! I used couch to 5K when I started running. I can remember feeling intimidated when it came time to run for 5 minutes straight, but the program builds up your endurance so gradually, it wasn't a problem. I found that if I was nervous about completing a workout, I would just run slower than normal to see if I could get through it.

I haven't been able to run since being pregnant, but I did two 5ks and a 10k last year, and I credit my ability to that app. (I used to not be able to run for more than a minute without cramping up, no lie!) Good luck!

I just finished doing week 2 day 2 of the Couch 2 5k program! As of today, I haven't had to cheat at all, and I was able to complete all the workouts as intended! Woo hoo! (I was/am a non-runner) and today's workout was 5 minute warm up walk, 1.5 min run followed by 2 minute walk (done 4 times) then run 1 minute, walk 1 minute (twice) then a 5 minute cool down walk!

For those that have completed this program, what week/workout did you find the hardest? I'm nervous that in the up coming weeks, I won't be able to finish one!
