When my son gets a cough, we usually just use the humidifier and then just let him fight it off. Does she get thirsty at night? My son used to get super thirsty in the middle of the night because he was coughing so much and breathing through his mouth (stuffy nose). Maybe give her some water if she gets up in the middle of the night.
