J has been doing this for a few days too (5 months old). At first I thought he was coming down with a cold, as DH had a cold a few days ago, but he hasn't had any other symptoms than an occasional dry cough - no congestion, fever, anything else. The air in our apartment feels really dry right now, so I may use a humidifier in his room overnight and see if that helps.

M has been coughing more with increased drool. She mostly just does it in the morning so I think she might also have some post nasal drip going on first thing when she wakes up.

My son has been experiencing this. He is older though, 23 months, and it is being linked to acid reflux. We had him evaluated by two different pedi's in under a week and try both came up with the same explanation.

Teething sounds like a good possibility though! I would get him checked out just in case there is something you are missing.

I noticed this around the time her last teeth were coming in. She was drooling more so she was coughing more since it was running down her throat. It might not be that, but it's an idea.

LO is 4 months, and had some vaccinations a week ago. He has also increased his drooling.
He keeps coughing a dry quiet cough but doesn't seem sick....no congestion or fever. He is also a little fussier than normal.
Anyone experience this?
