So, early pregnancy symptoms and PMS symptoms are the same, so I wouldn't take any stock in those. It takes at least 10 days after ovulation and unprotected sex to show a positive on a pregnancy test (if the egg was fertilized of course.) So, at this point, you probably just ovulated later from wedding stress or maybe you just aren't that familiar with your cycle length. Before TTC, I assumed my cycle was always around 30 days but I learned that it varied from 26-32. After that, you can get pregnant in the next day or two, but later is not very likely. It's more likely to just be stress.</p> <p>That said, late ovulation does happen. It would be rare for symptoms to show up 6 days after sex and a test would not even show positive yet. I highly recommend reading "taking charge of your fertility." From experience this could go eitherway. But to answer your second so many things can throw off your cycle including the likely stress of a wedding and new situation. A test would overwhelmingly most likely show pregnant or not at this point. I had BFPs at 11 DPO 3 times. I was just married, and had sex for the first time on the 8th. It's now the 14th and AF is four days late. I had some brown spotting yesterday, and nothing today, but the last few days I've been urinating more frequently and sleeping a bit more, and I woke up early this morning nauseous and with lower back pain. Is there any chance at all that I could be pregnant? If so, when would I be able to test? And if not, what could throw off my usually regular cycle so much? </p>
