@MrsRoo: good luck! I was so excited to return to stomach sleeping when I was pregnant, and now it seems like... not such a hot idea.

I had the exact same thing yesterday and called my LC who said it wasn't clogged probably but just to be safe to massage it frequently, sometimes in hot water, and put the baby on that breast first. Gone today!

I don't always get nodules but it hurts when I pump. And my breast feels tender-even when there's no hard spot. Yours sound exactly like mine-like a bruise. I apply ice (I seem to get mine after swelling up and the milk gets trapped) then heat and massage later while single pumping very high. Like a 9/10 on the pump. It hurts but it gets worse if it doesn't come out

@yin: so it hurt actually while you we're pumping, like even if you weren't touching it? My spot only hurts when I touch it, like a bruise.
@Smurfette: I hope it's not, too! They sound not fun at all...
@tysonja: thank you, I'll try that and hopefully it will go away!

for me i just felt a firmer spot, but also reddish and tender. i would just do some massage while nursing and make sure to empty your breasts when nursing/pumping today and keep a sharp eye on it! hopefully it turns out to be nothing! :)

For me clogged ducts hurt a lot, and it was evident every time I pumped (I only EP'ed). Hope you don't have it, but if you do just be patient and it will go away with continuous feeding and pumping throughout the day.

I woke up this morning (after a very engorged day yesterday, an sleeping on my stomach last night) with a red, warm, tender area on one breast. But I don't feel a hard lump anywhere. I feel 100% normal otherwise. So I'm not even sure if what I'm experiencing is a clogged duct or something else? Has anyone ever had a clogged duct but couldn't feel a hard spot?
