The most common allergy from apples is from the skin on raw apples, and it's typically oral allergy syndrome, where it makes your mouth itchy. I had given LO cooked peeled apples, so I don't think that was it, and there was nothing on his face/mouth/hands...anyway, she told me to try them again and see if the redness came back.<br /> The fact that A's spots were on his face might make a difference, also did you give him raw apple? They don't seem to bother him at all. </p> <p>Does this sound like it could be an allergic reaction? There's nothing around his mouth, tush, or hands...the only new food he's had has been apples, which he had yesterday (there were a few small bumps in the afternoon, he had the apples in the morning) and today. Are apples a typically allergenic food? </p>
