The month I got pregnant, I had some nasty spotting for days that just seemed out of my ordinary schedule. So yeah, you never know missy! Just this most recent time, I spotted on the day I thought I was going to get my period. It only lasted a day and it was brown and a little pink. I took a pregnancy test the next day and it was neg. I didn't take another test for 5 more days and it came up :bfp: right away! I'm under the impression though that 5DPO isn't "early" for implantation spotting at all. Only way to know is a positive HPT a few more days from now. And this morning I noticed my CM still had a bit of a brownish-red tinge to it. We have been TTC but went pretty easy on it this month...no ovulation tests or temping because I feel like doing all that made me a bit nuts the last couple of months, and I just want to enjoy my LO's first Christmas (yes, first Christmas...we're nuts, I want them close together! They'd be a year and 4 months apart.)</p> <p>I'm not getting my hopes up, but could this be implantation spotting? If my body followed it's usual cycle this month I would have ovulated 5 days ago. That seems early for implantation spotting. Obviously I won't really know if I'm pregnant or not until my TWW is over, but I was excited that it's even a possibility for me to be pregnant since I thought no way would it happen this month, and wanted to share! Anyone else experience implantation spotting - or spotting that turned out to be nothing? At what point in your cycle did it happen? I'm on day 19. </p>
