You could for both DS and DD, but I would never use DD's as a first name because there are too many interpretations for how to pronounce it. I'd hate for her to have to constantly explain or correct people. It's Lucia and we pronounce it loo-see-uh. DS' is Cole and that was actually my first choice for a long time.

LO1 - I could but I don't really like the name (honor name)
LO2- If we used the full name rather than a nickname because it's a variation of DH's name with the same nickname. I love his middle name and we have been asked why we didn't choose it as a first name.

Yes it would be a very nice first name, my father's name. We just prefer for the kids to have their own name and a family name as middle name. I have no idea what we'll name the next kid but I think it'll follow this theme!

No, yes, yes.
My girls each share their middle names with a grandparent. FIL's middle name (and DD1's) is his mother's maiden name. It's the French word for young.
My second shares with my mom and her mom. My third share with my dad, his dad, and my great grandfather. We used the feminine version.

Lo1 and soon to be lo2 both have middle names that might have been their first names. I had a big panic a few days after lo1 was born that we should switch them, but now I am happy we kept it this way.
