They test babies and it’s super easy and quick. My almost 3 year old has been tested twice (both negative) and she did fine. It’s important to get tested especially if you are out in the world. Had telemed and dr didn't think it's likely it's Covid while the rest of us (4 people) didn't show any symptoms, since he would've had to get it from us as he goes nowhere. </p> <p>But yes they test babies! Turned to out to be roseola. In both cases she had mild cold symptoms, but the doctor wanted to rule it out. That being said, she's in school so around other kids. My 12 month old was tested in the fall before surgery. I would call your pediatrician and ask if they recommend her getting tested. My infant had a fever over the summer and they did not recommend getting tested because cases were super low at the time and we had zero exposure. But, things are different now. Would you get her tested for Covid? Do they even do tests on babies? My older girls are sick too but no fevers. </p>
