It is pretty normal for newbies to lose their hair and for it to grow back though.</p> <p>We used olive oil with a couple drops of essential lavender oil in it. Massage in &amp; then comb out. My ped said to put olive oil on his scalp and comb off the flakes with a fine tooth comb if the flakes were bothering us aesthetically, but I'm really worried his hair will come out with the flakes! When I scrape off flakes with my nails, the flakes often come off with a couple hairs attached to them.</p> <p>Has anyone had success at getting rid of cradle cap and keeping the baby's hair intact?</p> <p>Thanks! </p>
