Put the shampoo on and then the oil and let it sit for awhile. Use a comb to get the flakes off and then baby shampoo off. This is the only thing that worked for us. We sat outside with P in my lap, leaning back on me (she loved being outside so she sat still well like this).... Rubbed a little on her head, massaging it a minute or two, &amp; then combed it out. We would put olive oil on her, let it soak in, then use a soft brush to comb out the flakes. This method is gentle and pretty effective, but it will make your baby kind of smell like a salad.</p> <p>We also tried Mustela Stelaker, which worked fine too.
