Second the Mustela foam shampoo for newborns. It worked almost immediately! We still use it every day because it smells so nice.

LO had this so bad and I finally got rid of it a few days ago! I put on baby oil and then took a very fine tooth comb and combed it out. I have FIVE baby wipes full of dry skin it was so gross!

We used a combo of dandruff shampoo and mineral oil. Put the shampoo on and then the oil and let it sit for awhile. Use a comb to get the flakes off and then baby shampoo off. This is the only thing that worked for us. Took about 3x for it to go away

Another one for baby oil. We massaged it on her head before her bath and used a more textured wash cloth on it in the bath.
Takes a lot of soap to get the oil off but it worked quickly!

I actually just used baby shampoo to clear it up (massaged into his scalp every night then rinsed), but my pedi also said olive oil works wonders.

R had it, not horrible. We used Little Remedies Lotion, Cradle Cap, that someone gave us. It worked great. It was gone within a week.

We used a little olive oil but what finally worked for is was using baby shampoo (not a creamy moisturizing wash ) on his head. We still do this ! And I would cost his little head in vanicream !

I used olive oil with a few drops of lavender. We sat outside with P in my lap, leaning back on me (she loved being outside so she sat still well like this).... Rubbed a little on her head, massaging it a minute or two, & then combed it out. It smelled lovely, relaxed her, & did great at getting rid of it!

LO had crazy cradle cap and we tried a few different things. We would put olive oil on her, let it soak in, then use a soft brush to comb out the flakes. This method is gentle and pretty effective, but it will make your baby kind of smell like a salad.

We also tried Mustela Stelaker, which worked fine too. And our pediatrician said we could put Nizoral on her, but we never went that route.

Do y'all have anything tried and true for getting rid of cradle cap? I know it's harmless, but it's gross looking!
