I always spot/bleed a little after them. However, I have been crampy with back aches since 36w so I dont' know that I can attribute my cramps to the cervical check but part of it wouldn't surprise me. Otherwise, I've been told that the feeling like I'm getting my period is just my body getting ready for labor i.e. my braxton hicks contractions. And now I'm cramping... ugh.</p> <p>I know I still have some time to go, but did you get crampy after any of your cervical checks? </p>
