@BlueWolverine: When LO won't nap well at daycare, we ask them to swaddle her and let her sleep in the swing. She'll conk out for over an hour at that point, sometimes 2.

LO made it through five whole days of day care this week. Technically, it's week three for her, but she got sick in weeks one and two and didn't make it five days. She has always taken shorter naps at day care (20-50 minutes) and I know it's because I hold her when she naps. Whenever I try to get her to nap in her crib at home, it's a shorter nap, so I just held her. However, I was encouraged that she'd sleep in her crib at day care and assumed she'd nap longer the more she got used to it. Not so much. She wouldn't sleep in her crib yesterday or today. She'd fall asleep on the floor in a boppy and when they tried to lay her down, she'd wake up and fuss. Poor thing only slept about 1.5 hours of the 8 she was there today. I need to try to figure out how to help her sleep there. We're having them move her crib closer to the white noise machine and hope that helps a little bit. The poor kid falls asleep on the way home and yesterday took a three hour nap.

Any other LOs have trouble sleeping at day care? What did you do?
