Oh yes... totally normal. I'm mostly "ragey" though and easily set off by things. My poor DH. It has gotten a lot better in last few weeks! Hang in there!

Ah ladies your posts made me laugh & feel a little less 'I'm the only pregnant looney I know'- thanks for that. Keeping my fingers crossed that the emotions will straighten out later on, along with the exhaustion & uncontrollable appetite, so glamorous!

Normal! For me, it didn't last the entire pregnancy but would come in waves.

Yup, totally normal. 15 weeks here, and I called my husband bawling last week because I was lost. Rationally I knew I just needed to pull up googlemaps on my phone, but I couldn't calm down enough to do that until he talked me down. The best one is still when I cried because he drank my coke, which was a while ago. I also definitely am losing my temper a lot, and it all started pretty much before I got my bfp. So basically my pms turned into crazy pregnant lady. DH mostly thinks it's funny, thankfully. :)

yep.
In fact, I was more emotional during my first tri. I was 100% normal in the other 2 tris.

Oh yes. I was totally fine during my first pregnancy. I'm a horrible person to be around this time. It happens.

I think it's completely normal. I have cried so many times over what I'm going to eat because of the MS!

I am a very calm and logical person, and I felt totally looney tunes throughout the whole pregnancy. It took all my effort not to be a total bitch to my husband all of the time, and I am a nice person! Totally pregnancy. I used to cry and insist that people in this Greek restaurant were lying to me about beiing out of beef souvlaki like pretty much every day. I wrote to their head office complaining about the lack of beef. Maniac. Total maniac. And it went away immed after giving birth.

I was extremely emotional, during the first trimester especially. Things seemed to even out a bit for me around 20 weeks and I feel emotionally more "normal" these days. My advice: avoid any "triggers" if possible. For me that meant avoiding the news, internet videos, and quite a few emotional blogs. I realize that is harder to do with work-related stuff! Good luck-- it won't last forever!

I am just coming up to 6 weeks pregnant & boy oh boy am I emotional. I constantly feel on the verge of tears- when I am happy or sad. I am also experiencing irrational bouts of rage, usually about work frustrations. Thankfully I can keep these under control but my poor husband must be getting tired of my rants. I forget about these frustrations within minutes & then I'm onto the next high or low which is making me feel CRAZY. This is quite out of character for me & is making me anxious. Did anyone else have crazy mood swings this early on?
