And my mom had her second child only a year after. When they got there they were asked if they would be willing to take twins instead of one and they agreed. Then the husband had to fly home early while the wife stayed to get the paperwork to clear and while she was there she found out she was pregnant. The surrogate was pregnant with triplets and then the bio mom became pregnant too (with only one baby, thankfully). When my son was two months old I found out I was 6 weeks pregnant with twins. I carried them to 37 weeks, at that point my older son was 8.5 months old. When we decided to possibly try for a girl we thought it would take a few years like before so we were hoping our three boys would be four or five. Of courses then it only took one month. I currently have a three year old, twins that will be three in July and a 5 month old little girl. Life is crazy with four kids under three but I love it. When all three boys were infants it's was super crazy!!!! Kind of a similar situation with the twins and a single just in reverse order. Both babies required long stays (I think 3 months) in NICU after birth but are doing really, really well today.</p> <p>The parents both went back to work right away to save their time off for when the babies came home. They were seriously running themselves ragged going to work, then straight to the hospital and only going home to sleep. For 3 months.</p> <p>After about 10 weeks of this, the doctors &amp; nurses got together and told them that they needed a break and to take a night off. They assured them they'd add a nurse to the staff that night and they'd call if anything happened, but that the parents should take a night and enjoy eachother's company.</p> <p>You can probably see where this is going...</p> <p>9 months later, they had another baby!</p> <p>I've heard of 2 babies in a year, but not 3! Anyone have another crazy story? </p>
