I gained 15 lbs in 4 weeks {month before last} & 10 lbs the next 4 weeks {last month}. At my last check up, though, & I'm going every 2 weeks now, I gained 1 lb in 2 weeks. my dr wasn't too concerned. I haven't been eating badly {my husband says that he's noticed that I have been eating more, though, so I'm trying to make sure I keep an eye on my portion sizes} & my glucose test was fine & my blood pressure has been good at every appointment as well. she said that your body does what it needs to & as long as all of my other stats are good then she's not going to worry about it & I shouldn't either. just to make sure I'm not eating crap. so I'm trying not to let it stress me too much. I'm 33 weeks tomorrow-ish & have gained 33 lbs so far.

I gained 4 lbs in 2 wks (weeks 17-19) and my doc was not concerned. That more than doubled my entire pregnancy weight gain so it was a lot for me.

Also, remember that you could have been retaining water and the holidays were just here, so you may end up not sustaining that gain.

I gained something like 10lbs in 2 weeks right at the end of my pregnancy, which concerned my doctor as I hadnt really gaineed much up until then. But I ended up having polyhydramnios (excess amniotic fluid) and REALLY high BP, which caused excessive swelling, so mine was cause for concern. Im sure it happens. If your dr wasnt concerned, try not to stress too much. Youll prob go back to normal weight gain soon

In my second trimester I gained 12 pounds in 3 weeks and I cried in my OB's office because I was so embarrassed. The OB said 12lbs was a LOT but because my weight gain, in general, was very good, she wasn't concerned as long as I went back to a normal weight gain, which I did.

I gained 5 pounds in 2 weeks during my second trimester. I am still in my second though and I have only gained 10 all together.

I'm 36 weeks now and I gained 7 lbs in 3 weeks (appt skipped a week due to holidays). Midwife wasn't concerned but she did mention it was notable. I fluctuate a lot - some appts I didn't gain any, then some I gain a lot. As long as you are eating healthy and baby is growing well, I would not worry too much.

Definitely try upping the water intake. I find I feel much better on days that I have plenty.

As long as you don't gain that much the next time and your doctor is fine, I think sometimes that happens. I know one appointment really early on, I gained like 6lbs in like a month, and my doctor was concerned because it was so early in my pregnancy.

You are in your third trimester, I heard you gain the most weight during this time.

I wish I could say it was that even, but I don't eat that much differently than I did before I was pregnant, and now I'm maybe just eating more regularly, and I would say almost healthier... I'm just going to chalk it up to my wtaer and see what happens on the 16th!

I gained 10 pounds once .... and my doctor was concerned. But I'm sure it didn't help that I gained like 7 pounds the next time. It's hard to have self control when your preggo!

So I went in for my 34 week check-up today and I couldn't have guessed how much weight I've gained in the past two weeks... 15 pounds! That's insane!

The doctor didn't really seem too concerned, but I am. I think it's because I went from drinking about 3 litres of water a day to about one, so I'm going to up my water intake again. My rings have been getting snug since this change too...

What's the biggest amount of baby weight you've gained between check-ups so far?
