Both of my boys slept (and one still does) well on it. One side is firm for infants and the other side is softer with a little memory foam for toddlers. I just turned it around to the softer side for my 14-month-old. No change in sleep but he did notice the softness though. :) He kept pressing on it. The firmness of the softer side is still the same after my oldest used it for 2 years on that side. Great mattress. A little on the pricier side but worth the money since it's held up great (a little over 4 years old). We actually bought it from the baby store we bought the crib from. All I know is that it's very firm and my kids both slept great on it. L used to be a super sleeper. STTN as of 8 weeks...until about 5 months. Then we moved him to pack n play, and now his crib. He wakes anywhere from 1 - 3 times per night. It's not horrible I know, but DH and I are sleeping horribly as a result. I know it may not be the mattress, but we are willing to try a new one. We currently have a used mattress that we got for free. I don't even know what kind it is. And since one of my friends had a similar problem with her baby that was magically cured with a better mattress, we thought we might as well try!</p> <p>So what mattress do you have/recommend? </p>
