She would not stay in her bed to save us now. We eventually got her a twin bed and redid her nursery to be a "big girl" room and really played it up. It worked for awhile, but now at 23 months she is "scared" of her room and will only fall sleep on our living room floor. It's been a 4 month challenge now. We moved him to a new room and have put almost nothing in the room, so there is little for him to want to play with. So far so good! This is how he fell asleep for his nap today haha :) i just moved him to the bed after he was asleep. Hopefully we can begin putting more of his things in the room once he gets used to it. Since it is higher in the back, we turned it around to get a few more months out of the crib. I feel like she will never sleep again knowing she can get out. She did start getting up and coming into our room though. The 2 y/o sleep regression and 2 year old molars in our house were no joke. We totally thought she would, but the switch was painless, so it could also be easier than you anticipate. I recommend making a floor bed some night, and seeing how that goes. We have held off on converting her crib to the toddler bed as we have a newborn (4-weeks old) and figured this may be a crazy amount of change (for all of us :happy: ). She is also cutting her top two canines and has been super whiny. When we hear her wake up we immediately check the video monitor to see what she is doing and then get her out of bed once she stands up.</p> <p>She is an awesome sleeper and I'm somewhat terrified what will happen when she can so easily get out of her bed (I'm guessing she will want to play in her room and not sleep). I'm feeling too sleep deprived from our newborn to be brave and go for it! </p> <p>Suggestions? Wondering if we should continue to hold off or just get the show on the road! </p>
