@stiletto_mom: how much room do you actually have? What about a mini crib and an ikea storage unit like the expedit/kallax? Then you just plop a summer infant pad on top. They make a 4x4 cube unit that will fit a change pad up top. Bonus:lots of storage underneath for pullout baskets that you can jam with all the baby junk

We used a changing pad on top of the dresser at first, and then we just started changing them on the floor once they were a little bigger (and started rolling in the middle of diaper changes)

my lo is almost 2 1/2 and about 33" tall, we still use the changing table, she's never attempted to climb out and I love that you change the baby facing her instead of to their side

@rattles: my friends' kid learned to climb out of that crib onto the table rather quickly. I recommend just using a changing pad on a dresser.

@stiletto_mom: never noticed, so... no? 1 drawer and 1 door, and a side shelf that stays open.

@pastemoo: Were the drawers squeaky or loud? I heard the Stork Craft was shakey and disruptive.

We don't have one, but my MIL has one at her house. We heard terrified shrieking once when DD figured out how to climb up on to it at nap time and couldn't get down (months before she could flip herself out of the crib otherwise). Otherwise, it seems like it would be fine. The changing table worked for her even at 2.

@stiletto_mom: I got the sorelle mini crib plus changer... it was not too small. though we mostly used the floor because i worried about him falling off it, and DH was too lazy to move rooms when diapers needed changed (LOL)

I plan to reuse it with baby #2. we also used it as toddler bed, and then again as a twin bed--but now big boy has his own twin and I put the crib back together. i'm a fan

We have one and I can't actually remember using the changing table. By the time the babies were using the crib I wasn't changing overnight diapers and would just get them dressed on the day bed in the nursery.

I e never used one but I'd be concerned about versatility esp if you end up with multiple LOs. We have a crib and dresser which doubles as changer and I think it gives more flexibility without taking up too much space.

I looked it up on Amazon and the combo changing tables have a 16" x 27" changing area and a standard is 32.5 x 16.5. I feel like that 5" is a huge difference. Most kids would be too long for it past 6 months.

We have very limited space. I'm looking at these convertible 4 in 1 cribs with an attached changing table. I love versatility but I'm wondering if anyone has experiences with these (brands like Stork Craft, Sorelle etc).

One thing that concerns me is that the changing table looks so small! Is it? How long were you able to use that changing table for? Did you get a changing pad for it? Would the Summer Infant pad that everyone loves fit on one of these?

Thanks!
